One of the best things about the MAC OS is the Automator program. I actually use this often, it helps streamline the most tedious, utterly needed but “hate doing this” tasks. For instance, I use it in batch processing. For example, you will see how to quickly batch re-name files in Mac OS X. I just did this to about 300 files and it took about 20 seconds. You can see it done in the video below:
