Obama Campaign Design
I am happy to see the almost extraordinary support for President Obama. Obama gives many people the connection most presidents do not have. Utilizing traditional and new vehicles to run his platform, the Obama campaign has literally plugged itself into the interweb (I love that word.)

One of the first things that I noticed immediately was the branding of Obama himself. I have to say, he had the most commodified presidential face I’ve ever been alive to see. But the identity of the Obama campaign can be attributed to MODE, a Chicago based design studio. Check out the Vid below.
Since Obama used Social Networking to really reach out and touch people, he managed to connect with real teenagers, the smart and techy 20 somethings. Much so to even sway the designs of the street wear community, recruiting one of the most prolific street artists ever (give or take), Shepard Fairey. The face of Obama was seen around the world in the form of posters, stencils, t shirts, action figures, statues and many other things.
